He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Louis P. Bowen and Lois Bowen; and his sister Patsy Morrison. He is survived by: his wife Joan Koons Bowen; and his siblings, Sammy Bowen (Dianne) and Deborah Bowen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
