Lena Sims Rowell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lena Sims Rowell of Gardendale, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley Sims and Geneva Roberts Sims; and her sisters, Elois Sims Crawford and Mary Sims Wisener. She is survived by: her son Michael E. Rowell (Ginger Holmes); her grandchildren, Alisa and Joseph; her son Randall T. Rowell (Kelly Holmes); her grandchildren, Carter, Abigail and Noah; her sister Clois Sims Wisener; and also Donald W. Sims. She is also survived by her two sons, their spouses.
