With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jennie Pate of Gardendale, Alabama, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emmett Foust Pate; and her boyfriend Pat Turner. She is survived by: her daughter Joy Pate Morris; her stepdaughter Sue Turner Whitlock (Buddy); her stepgrandchildren, Susan Hall (Mark), Patsie Jones and Tim Whitlock (Sarah); and her close friends, Eddie, Sandy Deason (family: Shane, DeeDee, Madison, Kori Kilby, David), Kati and Harlan Deason. She is also survived by several step great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
