In loving memory of Jacqueline Barr Smith of Gardendale, Alabama, who departed this world on January 10, 2025 at the age of 85. Jacqueline leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jacqueline shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jacqueline farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Barr and Ethel Barr; her brother David Barr; and her daughter Debra Smith Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Smith Weeks; her brother Bob Barr (Shirley); her grandchildren, Dana Johnson Morring (Jaren), Lauren Weeks and Britt Johnson; and her niece DeAnna Mayfield (Andy). She is also survived by seven great granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gardendale First Baptist Church South Campus (940 Main St, Gardendale, AL 35071).
