He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McCullar and Lillie McAnnally; his wife Rosalie C. McCullar; his siblings, Mac McCullar, Al McCullar, Dean Parker, Sylvia DuPont and Frances McCullar; and his grandchildren, Zach Thomas and Katie Busby.

He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Busby and Susan Morgan; his sister Faye King; his grandchildren, Andrew Busby, Jennifer Thomas and Brett Thomas; and his great grandchild Haddy Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
