It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freeman Dale Snyder (Gardendale, Alabama), who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman L. Snyder and Louise Snyder (Otis); his former wife Betty (Weller); his brother-in-law Roger Scheel; and his stepson Dwight Gwin.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Lambert-Gwin); his children, Keith Snyder (Terri), Gerald Snyder (Bonita) and Susan Taylor (Russ); his stepchildren, Jerry Gwin IV, Steven Gwin (Melinda) and Joy Gwin; his grandchildren, Brandon Snyder (Katie), Bonnie Charles (Jeff), Tessa Donovan (Andy), Kyle Taylor (Ashley), Brooke Taylor and Ashley Copeland (Kris); and his sisters, Donna Caspersen (Norm) and Kathy Scheel. He is also survived by 9 great-granddaughters and 5 great-grandsons.
