He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Skelton; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Dianne Skelton; his sister Billie Jane Phillips; his nephew Chad Skelton; his daughter Amanda; his son-in-law Robert Welshans; his grandson Jake Welshans; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Vaughn and Sara Vix.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Memorial Gardens (2100 Moncrief Rd, Gardendale, AL 35071).
