With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances P Johnson (Gardendale, Alabama), who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Frances may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frances touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Aldridge and Sarah Aldridge; her husband Ted (Ted); and her siblings, Balma Benefield and Powell Aldridge.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Lou Mann; and her children, Debra Herbert and Donnie Lyons (Judy). She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, Alabama (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Moncrief Cemetery (2055 Moncrief Rd, Gardendale, AL 35071).
