She was predeceased by: her parents, Alto Nathan Boyd and Mamie Bell Smith Boyd; her husband Harold Britt McCraney; her daughter Leah McCraney; and her sisters, Beatrice Cooper and Bert Andrews.
She is survived by: her sons, Nathan McCraney and Randall McCraney; and her caregiver Carolyn Wheatley. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, many special nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church or to the Dementia Society of America.
