He is survived by: his nephew David Hardy; his wife Michelle; his children, Ashlie Nichols, Laura James, Vanessa Gaither (Ryan) and Amber Gunn; his sisters, Rashel Rodgers (Alan) and Laura McLaughlin (Jack); and his close friend Barry Phillips. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
