She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest L. Richards and Florence Richards (Garren); her husband Gordon Collum; and her siblings, Vollie Mae Richards Waldrop, Imogene Richards Mayo, K. C. Richards, Lesley Richards, J. V. Richards and Cecil Richards.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Kathleen (Collum), Jim Phillips of Blount County and Barbara Collum of Oneonta, Alabama; and her close friends, Cathy and Harold Smith. She is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews; a host of great nieces and nephews.
