With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Steven John Caird of Gantt, Alabama, born in Oakland, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Duarte (Mal) and Peter Caird (Mary); and his siblings, Gerald and Linda. He is survived by: his wife Dottie (Andalusia); his children, David Caird (Tammi) and Nicole Caird; and his stepdaughters, Karmen Fredricks (Diane), Amy Clark and Robin Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
