She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ronald Pettis; her father Ollie "Galford" Henderson of Gantt; her children, Alisha Dahl (Joey) of Andalusia and Russell Pettis (Meagan) of Kinston; her grandchildren, Sierra Berry, Andrew Berry, Tori Pettis, Summer Pettis, Riley Pettis and Hadley Pettis; her siblings, Carolyn Harris of Andalusia, Lawrescia Ammons of Andalusia and Ladon Ammons of Pensacola, FL.; her mother Ruby Henderson; her son Dewayne Pettis; and her stepmother Bertha Henderson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keahey Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the West Highland Assembly of God Church.
