He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Nabors (Sharon) and James Calvin Nabors (Debbie); his grandchildren, T. J. Nabors, IV and Lauren Nabors Averette (Jesse); and his great grandchildren, Braxton Averette and Marissa Averette.
