He is survived by: his wife Cathi Wilson Banks; his children, William Aubert Banks, III (Whitney), Lisa Banks Bonamy (Michael) and Lindsay Banks Miller (Ryan); his grandchildren, Caroline, Colin Bonamy, Ansley, Harrison, Elsie Ann Miller and Hazel Anne Banks; his siblings, Emily Brooks, Tim Banks, Grady Coggins and Connie Hall; his parents-in-law, Ernie and Phyllis Wilson; his brother Dennis; his sister-in-law Jennifer Wilson; and his nephew Dereck Wilson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in honor of Bill to Wreaths Across America or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
