James Oliver Keener Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Oliver Keener of Gallant, Alabama, who passed away on October 27, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Keener and Clara Keener; his brothers, Willard, Lewis and Wallace; and his stepsons, Charles Gillis (Sheila) and Tony Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Doris Keener; his children, Neal Keener, Grahl Keener (Angie), Walter Keener (Katie), Steven Kelly Moore (Glenda) and LaVonda Payne (Tom); and his stepchildren, Jeff Gillis (Tracie), Carl Gillis (Lynn) and Lessie Putman (Donald). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family has respectfully requested everyone please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers; the family has requested donations to St. Judes Hospital.
