It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Nicholson (Gainestown, Alabama), born in Alma, Alabama, who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Percy, Carlos, Robert, Grady, Lewis, Mose and Shirley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Henderson and Keyia Roper; his grandchildren, Sean Roper of Pensacola Fl and Ariell Sydes (The Apple); his son-in-law Arnez Sydes of Southfield, MI; his son Andre Bryant of Detroit, MI; and his siblings, Steve Nicholson (Maxine) of Detroit, MI and Gladys Barnes of Detroit, MI.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
