He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Malone Finlay, Sr. and Sally Smith Finlay; his wife Laura Croom Rivers Finlay; and his sister Betty Finlay Brislin. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Finlay Vingi (Robert) and Robert Croom Finlay (Carmen); and his grandchildren, Marshall Callaway Vingi (Justin), William Rivers Vingi, Louis Malone Vingi and Logan Finlay Hart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the White Smith Memorial Library in Jackson, Clarke County Historical Society of Grove Hill or St. Peters Episcopal Church in Jackson.
