With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma Sue Meroney (Gadsden, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband W. H. "Horace" Meroney; and her parents, Gus Tucker and Bessie Tucker. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Hood, Kay Higgins, Dennis "Sam" Meroney, Wade Hardie, Lynn Norris and Terry Lee; her grandchildren, Chris Reynolds, Brooke Fail and Dustin Hood; her great grandchildren, Jesse, Rylan, Alex, Harper Fail, Harley Cobb and Paisley Murphy; and her grandchildren, Heather Snell, Dell Burnett Jackson and Anthony Coates. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
