We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2019, at the age of 77, William Newton Godfree Jr. (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Huntsville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son James Walker Godfree; and his parents, Katherine Walker Evans and William Newton Godfree, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Boutin Godfree; his children, William Newton Godfree, III (Bill) and Elizabeth Godfree Beaube (John); and his grandchildren, William Newton Godfree, IV (Newt), William Thomas Beaube, Anne Katherine Beaube (Kate), Sarah Elizabeth Beaube and Gage Trevor O'Bryant.

In lieu of flowers, a Nursing Scholarship has been established in his honor.
