We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2023, at the age of 68, William Bartley Scott (Gadsden, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Scott and Mary Scott; his sister Sandra Crowell; and his niece Carrie Scott. He is survived by: his wife Myra Mayes Scott; his grandchildren, Hadley Marie Freeman and John Disque Agricola III (Trey); his stepchildren, Michael Bolton (Katie) and Madison Bolton; his granddaughter Eloise Katherine Bolton; his brother John Scott (Deb); and his siblings-in-law, Ragan and Beverly Godfrey. He is also survived by friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family will receive donations for the Lung Patient Assistance Program of Vanderbilt University Medical Center with checks made payable to Gift and Donor Services.
