She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Howard Edwards and Josie Aretta Edwards; and her siblings, Walter Howard Edwards, Jr., Harold Douglas Edwards, Tommy Allen Edwards, Walter Donald Edwards, Roger Dale Edwards and Peggy Edwards Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her husband Guy Walton Whisenant, Jr.; her sons, Zachary Whisenant and Guy Walton Whisenant III; and her siblings, Robert Edwards, Jimmy Edwards (Pat), Gary Edwards, David Edwards (Nora), Connie Edwards and Mitchell Edwards (Brenda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crestwood Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
