She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse J. Carroll and Mana Carroll; and her siblings, Ralph Carroll, Sonny Carroll, Billy Carroll, Shirley Cambron and Geraldine Kidd.

She is survived by: her former husband Col. James W. Griffin (Bill); her daughter Denise Griffin Skelton (Kenneth); her husband Bill Griffin; her granddaughters, Kendall Skelton Welder (Chris) and Kimberly Skelton Woodall (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Peyton, Paige Woodall and Kate Welder; and her brother James Carroll. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
