He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocie Prater and Evelyn Prater; his siblings, Mary Julia Prater, Bobby Joe Prater, Daniel Lee Prater, Jerry Fain Prater, Ocie Carl Prater and Willis Jack Prater; and his grandchildren, Anthony Ray Mostella, Jr. and Tanisha Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Prater of East Gadsden, AL; and his children, Charlene Davis (Derick) of Piedmont, AL, Reflesia Fitch (Morris) of Bessemer, AL, Loretha Bradford (Dewayne) of Chelsea, AL, Bruce Woods (Hazel) of Ellerbe, NC, Craig Woods of Trussville, AL and Marty Woods (HueLanda). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; a host of relatives, friends.
