It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurman Jerry Davis of Gadsden, Alabama, born in Jefferson, Alabama, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy James Davis and Maggie Wyatt Davis; and his sisters, Ann McDonald and Margaret Smith. He is survived by: his children, Angela Rena Davis of Gadsden, Jerry Lee Davis of Montevallo, Tammy Davis-Acosta of Trussville, Julie Diane Davis of Pensacola, FL, James Michael Davis of Jemison and Gary Wayne Davis of Gadsden; and his siblings, Bill Davis, Daniel Davis, Kenny Davis, Ronnie Davis, Raburn Davis, Frances Scurlock, Ruby Lloyd, Linda Davis, Bonnie Sue Davis, Mary Vance, Becky Ellison and Faye Sorrows. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren.
