He was predeceased by: his wife Lynna Conner; his sister Diane Hall; and his parents, Thurman Conner and Vene Conner. He is survived by: his children, Clay Conner (Kristi), Ginny Smith (Daniel) and Nathan Hobbs (Allyson); his grandchildren, Brendan Conner, Jessica Herrington (Jerod), Kaitlyn Mims (Scott), Knox, Crosby Smith, Parker and Owen Hobbs; and his brother Chris Conner (Kelly).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or other charity of choice.
