She was predeceased by: her son Reginald Davis; her husband Gregory Thornton; her parents, Mattie Davis and Merion William Stewart; her aunt JoAnn Davis; and her brother Oscar Young.

She is survived by: her children, Salandria Davis and Darnesha Thornton; her grandchildren, Gabriel Stocks and Giana Stocks; her brothers, William Page (Connie), Rodney Curry (Marketta), Jesse Curry and Tracy Ball; her mother-in-law Sherlene Bethley; her cousin Curtis Stewart; her sisters, Tara Holston and Cynthia Williams; her niece Regina Groves; her nephews, Tj Page, Michael Page and Marcus Page; and her goddaughter Keiona Williams. She is also survived by loving family members and close friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adams-Buggs Funeral Service ~ Etowah Chapel (401 N 9th St, Gadsden, AL 35901). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rainbow Memorial Gardens (1440 W Grand Ave, Gadsden, AL 35904).
