He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stroup and Alice Stroup; and his son Will Stroup. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Lasseter; and his brothers, Jerry and Michael Stroup. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rainbow Church of Christ (2201 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901).
