She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Pitts and Willie B. Rosser Allen; her husband Charlie Zeigler, Jr.; her son Cedric Pitts; and her sisters, Cynthia Rosser-Latham and Charlsie Pitts.
She is survived by: her children, Loressa Pitts Ollison of Pensacola, FL, Ray Pitts of Los Angeles, CA, Vanessa Zeigler Hughes of Irondale, AL and Victor Zeigler of Gadsden, AL; and her siblings, Nellie (Mitchell), Phylis Dumas (Fred) of Atlanta, GA, Ava Lee (Will) of Oxford, AL and Jeffery Rosser (Marilyn) of Douglasville, GA. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; a host of great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adams-Buggs Funeral Service ~ Etowah Chapel (401 N 9th St, Gadsden, AL 35901). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Hill Cemetery (408 Miller Ave, Gadsden, AL 35903).
