With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sana Jacqueline Alexander Lumpkin (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Altoona, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dawson Alexander and Mae Stanfield; her husband Dr. Hoyt Lumpkin; her siblings, Wayne Sams, Dawson Alexander Jr., Charles Gibbs, Frances Musgrove and Faye Valmas; her children, Gregory Lumpkin and Laura Lumpkin; and her grandson Dawson Morris.

She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Lisa Lumpkin (Jack Morris); her grandchildren, Dr. Jacqueline Morris and Dr. Jay Morris (Ginny); her great grandchildren, Eliana Morris, Eleanor Morris and Lauren Lucas; her brother Earl Gibbs (Janice); and her sister-in-law Jody Gibbs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
