He was predeceased by: his wife Frances; his parents, Herman Hunter and Myrtice Hunter; his siblings, Patricia Alford, Tina Gaskin (Allen), Gary Hunter and Allen Hunter (Becky); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Shirey (Bill), Helen Williams (JR), Billy Ray Oliver (Johnnie), Clarence Martin Jr. (Booster), Larry Martin, Robert Martin (Myra Fay) and Michael Martin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Hunter Lankford (Keith) and Kristionna Hunter; his grandchildren, Colten Lankford (Sarah Harman) and Kara Lankford; and his siblings, Sherry Hunter Hutt (Jimmy), Dana Helms (Jeff Davis), Jimmy Hunter (Adonna), Tony Hunter (Pam) and Eric Hunter. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
