She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Roberson and Cassie Roberson; her sister Mary Sue Byrd; and her grandchildren, Cassie L. Smith and Monte L. Irvin, Jr..

She is survived by: her close friend James Philpot of Gadsden, Alabama; her children, Dianna Williams of Metter, Georgia and Monte Irvin, Jr. (Dothina) of Tampa, Florida; her sisters, Teresa Roberson of Savannah, Betty Roberson Jefferys of Providence, Catherine (Frank, Jr.) of Midway and Barbara Roberson-Cannon (Henry) of Atlanta, Georgia; her son-in-law Stacey M. Smith; her brother-in-law Harold Byrd; and her grandchildren, Ebay Williams, Shantell Smith, Akeem Smith (Keisha), Brandi Smith, Tony Hampton, Marcus Johnson and Makayla Jennings. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
