He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, H. Robert Pine and Ruth Pine; his wife Penelope Matthews Pine; his sons, Matthew Francis Pine (Angeles) and Robert Halsey Pine, Jr.; his granddaughter Ana Pine; and his siblings, Charles A. Pine and Rebecca L Pine. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter, Turning Point Foundation, or to the charity of your choice.
