He is survived by: his wife Katherine Griffin of Lincoln; his children, Kay Gurley of Talladega, Gay Hurst (Pat) of Lineville and Mitch Griffin (Shasta) of Lincoln; and his sisters, Ann McKay and Janice Jenkins. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
