He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Jones and Sissie Mae Jones; his son Stephen Dale Jones; and his siblings, Georgia Flack, Bobby Jones and Willie Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Baker; his daughters, Susan Wood (Alan), Teresa Hindsman (Scott) and Melanie Jones; his grandchildren, Christopher Hindsman, Stephen Wood, Robert Hindsman and Mary Wood; his great grandchildren, Kipten Wood, Tucker Hindsman, Lily Hindsman and Casen Wood; his siblings, Mary Ellen Morgan, Dalice Berkshire, Cohen Jones and Charles Jones; and his cousin Everal Tomblin (Judy).
