She was predeceased by: her parents, Witherspoon Witherspoon and Nora Donaline Witherspoon of Gadsden. She is survived by: her husband Garry Edward Elkins; her daughter Katrina Elkins Herman (Greg) of Brentwood, TN; her grandchildren, Morris Sidney Herman II of Dallas, TX and Rebecca Witherspoon Herman of Nashville, TN.; and her brothers, William K. Witherspoon of Woodstock, GA, Robert R. Witherspoon of San Augustine, TX and James N. Witherspoon of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
