He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Capps Wesley; his parents, Irma Hardesty Wesley and Ralph "Pat" Norman Wesley, Sr.; his sister Judith Wesley Smith (Jim) of Wilmington; his daughters, Joanna Wesley Harrison of Birmingham and Karen Wesley Wilhite (Jason) of Fort Myers; and his grandchildren, Ann Wesley Harrison, Samuel Clayton Harrison of Birmingham and Levy Storm Wilhite of Gulf Breeze, Florida..
