In the vast expanse of eternity, Phillip Reedy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Phillip Reedy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Melissa; his mother Carol Dooley West; and his parents-in-law, Oren Eugene McCallie and Helen McCallie. He is survived by: his son Daniel Riley Thacker; his daughter-in-law Shelby Thacker; his grandsons, Riley James Thacker and Sawyer Jareth Shelby Thacker; his sisters, Ann Thacker King (late Bruce) and Denise Thacker Watford (Scott); and his siblings-in-law, Lou Bush (late Brian) and Jed McCallie (Terri). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
