Peggy Elder Butler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2023, at the age of 93, Peggy Elder Butler of Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hoyt L. Butler, Jr.; her parents, D. H. Elder and Flora Elder; her sister Katherine Elder; her son-in-law Tommy Brazeal; and her son Billy Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Brazeal, Laure Butler and Trey Butler (Connie); her grandchildren, Cley Butler, Cheney Hickey (Steve) and Pary Payne (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Reagan Hickey, Reese Hickey and Mason Payne; her siblings, Sherry Swigert and David Elder (Omayra); and her pets, Jack and Tipper.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mrs. Butler's memory to First Baptist Church Gadsden, 235 South Fifth Street, Gadsden.
