It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Lewis Shurbutt (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Lay Shurbutt; his parents, Charlie Shurbutt and Maude Shurbutt; and his siblings, Bobby Joe, Jerry T, Jimmy, Donald Shurbutt and Ruth Noah.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Hardeman and Dena Cobb (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Grant Hardeman, Maggie Cobb and Noah Cobb; and his niece Missy Shurbutt Hall. He is also survived by Nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
