She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Guyton and Vennie Guyton; her brother Robert "Alan" Guyton; and her granddaughter Makenzie Pointer Lancaster. She is survived by: her husband Gary Pointer; her children, Michael Pointer, Genny Duffey (Joseph), Garrett Pointer and Morgan Pointer; her grandchildren, Taylor Pointer, Alex Pointer, Paxton Duffey and Gabriel Duffey; and her brother Stephen Guyton.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rainbow Memorial Gardens (1440 W Grand Ave, Gadsden, AL 35904).
