It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Yvonne Ragland of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Fred, Florine Battle and Laura Wilson; her parents, James Thomas Brookins and Doris Florine Marshall; her sister Becky Joyce Baker; and her brother-in-law Joe Willingham.
She is survived by: her children, Tiffany DeRamus (Dewayne Burns) and Adrian Ragland (Amber); her stepdaughter Kim Turpeau; her grandchildren, Daijah DeRamus, Kolby DeRamus, Jayden Ragland, Jordan Ragland, Teagan Turpeau and Dallas Ragland; her great grandchildren, Kaidynce Norman and Omari Jones; her sisters, Alfreda Willingham, Marcia Fenn, Terrie Brookins and Doris Felicia Dupree (Billy); her uncle Edwin Battle (Valencia); and her nephew Marcus J. Baker.
