He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Katherine Elizabeth Brown; his brother-in-law Col. Robin Byrom; and his parents, Arthur Bowdoin and Mary Frances Bowdoin. He is survived by: his wife Rita Bowdoin; his children, Jamie Brown (Thomas) and Brad Bowdoin (Lisa); his grandchildren, Joseph Thomas Brown IV, Jacob Michael Brown, Ben Ellis Bowdoin and Anna Marie Bowdoin; and his sister Rosemary Byrom. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
