She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Hawkins and Annie Kate Hawkins; her husband Johnny Welch; and her sister Johnnie Ruth Mellon. She is survived by: her daughter Rita; her son-in-law Jaquay Burns; her grandchildren, Jackie Burns and John Burns; and her siblings, Charlie Hawkins (Gladys), Billy Hawkins (Janell), Dollie Gore, Zubbie Selvage and Wilma Davis (Reynoil). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
