He is survived by: his son Erik David Guy Silvey; his parents, Herbert Pinkney and Myrtle Ruth Adams Silvey; his brothers, Herbert Eugene Silvey and Donald Guy Silvey; his sons, Daniel James Silvey and Evan Marcus Silvey; and his sisters, Jane Robinson (Dennis) of Gadsden and Glenda Annette Silvey of Gadsden. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
