She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Owens and Nettie Owens (Warren); and her siblings, Nell Brown and Furman Owens. She is survived by: her children, Karen White (Phillip) of Oneonta, Andrea Crawford (Ken) and John Pinson III (Nicole).

Prior to the pandemic, she taught knitting twice a week, and loved to help friends, neighbors, and family in any way possible.
