She was predeceased by: her grandmother Minister Dochie Grimmes Davis; her parents, Lola Maxie Coleman and Dennis Coleman; and her siblings, Shirley A Coleman, Mary Coleman, Ruby Millender, Minnie Ervin, James Coleman, Paul Coleman, Joel Coleman and Walter Parker.

She is survived by: her husband Ellis Clayton; and her siblings, Llowell Richard Coleman, Anne and Sarah Coleman. She is also survived by her 4 daughters, 3 sons, 26 grandchildren.
