She was predeceased by: her parents, Kidd Posey and Zora Posey; and her siblings, Myra Diane Posey and Jackie Roy Posey. She is survived by: her husband James Wesley Elliott; her children, Carla Brooks (Tony), Myra Edwards (Tony), Tina Elliott and James Wesley Elliott Jr. (Michelle); her sisters, Shelby Posey, Strawn Ridge and Brenda Richards; and her grandchildren, Haley, Casey, Evan, Christopher, Wesley, Ashley, Savannah, Zack, Tara and Autumn.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
