She was predeceased by: her parents, Kidd Posey and Zora Posey; and her siblings, Myra Diane Posey and Jackie Roy Posey. She is survived by: her husband James Wesley Elliott; her children, Carla Brooks (Tony), Myra Edwards (Tony), Tina Elliott and James Wesley Elliott Jr. (Michelle); her sisters, Shelby Posey, Strawn Ridge and Brenda Richards; and her grandchildren, Haley, Casey, Evan, Christopher, Wesley, Ashley, Savannah, Zack, Tara and Autumn.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Service Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
