He is survived by: his mother Joyce Nation (David); his siblings, Billy DeJarnett (Tabatha) and Serena DeJarnett; and his children, Kenneth DeJarnett Jr., Brian DeJarnett, Anthony DeJarnett, Ashton DeJarnett, Preston DeJarnett and Genesis DeJarnett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association.
