He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Beavers and Hannah Beavers; his son Shawn Childs; and his sister Kathy Beavers. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Faye Beavers; his siblings, Bobby Beavers (Johnice) and Janice Beavers; his sister-in-law Janice Brisker (Bonnie Winfrey); his children, Lajuana King, Sr. (Anthony), Lenalda Woods, Kimberly Beavers and Felecia Beavers (Lando); and his grandchildren, Ciera King, Anthony King, Jr., Chrisma King, Monshon Davis, DJ Coker, Rashard Davis, Jasmine Worthy, John Woods III, Asia Childs, Darrion Rodgers and Miangel Chambers. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams-Buggs Funeral Service ~ Etowah Chapel (401 N 9th St, Gadsden, AL 35901). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (2103 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Lincoln Hill Cemetery (408 Miller Ave, Gadsden, AL 35903).
